The atmosphere is perfect for England games and regular Friday/Saturday nights. There is plenty of entertainment available, including karaoke and dance nights. Helen and Jacob behind the bar are great to chat with and very kind!

Nikki was a fantastic host. We inquired about dog-friendliness upon arrival, not noticing the jar of dog treats at the entrance 🙈🙈🙈. We had a great time with good beer, a pool table, and well-maintained cues. Definitely stop by if you're in Oakengates 💯💯💯

It was our first visit in many years, and we were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the decor, prices, and quality of drinks. It was a bit quiet for a Saturday, but we will definitely be returning

It seemed like an alright pub with a sports bar vibe. The beer was reasonably priced and the interior was smart with nice carpet. I would use it again without any issues

The best pub in Telford by miles. They have real ales, live weekend entertainment, and good times. Oh, and it's dog-friendly 👍

I visited the Coalport Tavern on Sunday evening. The Landlord and Landlady were very friendly and welcoming. Singer Alan Williams provided entertainment with a wide variety of music, and I believe live music will be a regular feature at the pub. It was refreshing to see a live singer playing an instrument instead of the usual karaoke music. The pub is very clean and modern, with very friendly regulars. There is wonderful outdoor seating at the back of the building. We wish these new landlords success at the Coalport Tavern Oakengates
